Batman: The Killing Joke Gets An R-Rating, Meaning There's Still A Chance We'll See A Fully Animated Bat-Penis
This is big.
For those of you who were worried that the animated version of Alan Moore's well-known story, Batman: The Killing Joke, would be toned down for its direct-to-video release, worry no more. It's officially been given an R-rating, so that means that none of the dark themes and actions from the original story will be toned down. This is especially exciting, because this might be the first time we get a glimpse at the animated Bat-Penis we've all been waiting for.
While an R-rating for a movie doesn't necessarily guarantee the presence of a flaccid human sex organ, it sure is encouraged. Films such as Forgetting Sarah Marshall, The Hangover, and Deadpool featured a penis in one form or another, and all of those movies were smash hits! This is where Warner Brothers might want to take notice of Hollywood trends, rather than hiring Zack Snyder to make more films.
This will be the first DC Universe Original Movie to get an R-Rating, and possibly the first to feature Bruce Wayne's floppy Bat-dick. While the original story doesn't feature Batman's penis waving around in the wind as he overlooks Gotham, that certainly shouldn't stop them from including it in this release. After all, they've gotten the R-rating cleared. Why not throw it in there?
Batman: The Killing Joke will make its debut at San Diego Comic Con this summer, so the wait for Batman's Bat-dick is nearly over!
